About Mr. LarrieuMy whole life, I have been fascinated by the world around me. In my journey to understand the meaning of my own life, I came to study Science, History, and Philosophy. I think it is vital to the health of our civilization that every person be a careful and informed thinker. I also think that every person deserves to feel like someone cares about them and believes in them. I became a teacher because I want to help make that happen.
This is an interesting time to be alive. At the same time that we have empowering technologies and interconnected economies, we also still have hunger, exploding populations, war, ignorance, global climate change, and energy crises. If we are going to survive and enter a new era of exploration and peace, we need to work together. Education is the first step. As a species, we humans are incredible. I believe in us. In spite of all our faults and all the damage we inflict and incur, we can overcome what challenges us. Let's get to work. |
